Not only does the pearly surface glimmer but there is sparkle in the gemstones and a radiant little character robin to keep you company over the festivities.
The pearlesced surface has been created by a process of layering fine iridescent paints one on top of another. Many many layers later and there is a build up of the subtle reds and greens atop of the white surface. Creating this background takes time but the overall effect is worth it as it acts as the perfect foil for the robin and foliage that sit on top.
The Robin is surrounded by recognisable greenery associated with the Yuletide season. Leaves of mistletoe and their creamy white berries are co-ordinated beautiful with the shimmer of the pearl as this shines through as an underlayer. This adds to the already sumptuous feel that this bauble is indeed something hand crafted and bespoke.
Next are the red berries of the Holly. The little red gemstones have been added with the intention that they will catch the light and sparkle. They reflect back all those festive Christmas tree lights of the fairy lights in a garland. The robin itself has been stylised in Kerry truly naïve take on these winter garden visitors. Their red breasts echo the red berries of the season.
