This marvellous mini is protected beneath its glass casing which has its own chain. As its ready to hang it can also double up as a bespoke gift or bottle tag. Making the gift on which its placed that extra-bit special!
There is a depth and distance added to the composition. Delicate clouds sit in a moonfilled landscape. The cottage is nestled into its surroundings. A pathway leading up to the door as if to invite you in, is edged with a row of flowers.
Flecks of gold and glazes of iridescent colour add glistening highlights to a painting that predominantly uses a palette of deepest navy and soft pinks.
Kerry has used the smallest of brushes and marks to create details and layers that add to her beautiful composition. You can imagine strolling along and passing by this moonlit cottage on a balmy Summer’s evening. It is easy to imagine catching glimpses of the moons reflection as it plays upon the surfaces surrounding you.
As with all of Kerry’s paintings these miniatures come with their own mini certificate and are entered into her catalogue as an original piece of artwork. Making them no less important than her larger pieces.
