Kerry is very happy to present this Cornish Harbour print work. A high quality reproduction of the original painting of this beautiful cove. Situated on the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall. This diminutive fishing port is filled with typical whitewashed fishermans cottages, net lofts and boats. Thatch and slate punctuate the skyline giving the dwellings a sense of being hunkered down against the worst of the weather that this little stretch of coast can face in the harsher winter months. Equally they’re able to bask in the summers sunset.

Colours of the Cove

Kerry has chosen an entirely warm palette for this image as it reflects her visit there in the height of the summer when this painting was first conceived. Warm tones give it a sense of long summer days stretching to sun soaked golden-hour evenings. Away into the valley you can see smaller houses and homes dotted around which hint at those villages situated not far from this one.

Cadgwith is only a short drive away from other famous landmarks such as the Lizard Lighthouse and Kyanance Cove. It very close to the southerly most tip of the UK mainland and it is well worth a visit. Filled with flora not often found in the rest of the UK. Here subtropical plants thrive in abundance in the warm wet winters – and fauna. The warmer waters mean you may be lucky enough to spot a Cornish Chough or the seals and dolphins in the bays. In this print you can spot the nods to all the plant life less common in most other parts of the UK.

Being the UK it means that no two days are the same and so this print means the warmer sunnier days can be seen all year round in this image.
